BOULDER
Boulder is one of my favorite cities. I went to CU and loved every moment of my 4 years there. There’s nothing like walking on a snow covered campus right at the foot of the rockies. It is such a foodie city! Check out my recommendations below. Go Buffs!
Walk along Pearl Street and you won’t be disappointed. There are tons of quirky shops, restaurants, wine bars and musicians lining the streets.
Breakfast: The Buff is a must, but be prepared to wait for a table. Snooze is also a favorite! Jill’s is another great option located in The St. Julien right off Pearl Street. Lucile’s is a hidden gem and has great biscuits.
Lunch/Dinner: The Med for tapas, Brasserie for steak, Centro for classy mexican, Jax for seafood, Salt, Upstairs, West End Tavern for wings, Illegal Pete’s for casual mexican food, Mustard’s Last Stand for a hot dog and Frasca for Italian. Plus, Cosmo’s Pizza for dinner or late night eats and don’t forget the side of spicy ranch.
Bars: The Attic for Fat Albert’s (aka vodka punch) and pool, The Bitter Bar for classy craft cocktails, The Walrus and The Sink for that dive bar college vibe.
Late Night Eats: Boulder Baked is everything - they deliver grilled cheese, tomato soup and fresh baked desserts. You can literally order 1 fresh baked made to order chocolate chip cookie and milk!
